Sanibel Bike Trails
Sanibel bike trails run the entire length of the island. 25 miles of them. Some run through preserve lands. Others run parallel to the roads. Residents, renters and day trippers all flock to
Well, you know I'm going to agree with you there - everywhere should have bike trails. We're slowly getting them in Cambridge and, as you say, everybody loves them - particularly the motorists who are only too glad to have the bikes off the roads!
A bike trail is only a distant memory now with our current 14 degree temperature. Yet, I see many bikers going to work in this weather. . . I can only imagine!!
There's a roadside park in that vicinity where a local told me they've seen a bobcat. Naturally, when I bike along that path I keep my eyes peeled and camera at the ready looking for Mr. Robert Feline.
