Well, I'm glad you got something for yourself!! And what a beautiful little box it is!! So colorful! I love it! Hope your week is off to a great start! Have fun -- camera in hand, of course!
That is beautiful. I would have been tempted by that too. But, then I'm sure there would have been quite a lot of things that would have tempted me on a trip to Russia.
Phew! I had the same reaction as Birdman for a moment...one of those self-portraits: "after retirement, before I found myself by starting a blog." Beautiful souvenir!
Beautiful!
ReplyDeletewell that's a beautiful little keepsake!
ReplyDeleteWow! For a second there, I thought we might have another photo of you. Caught in the 60s?

ReplyDeleteNah, Birdman should know better. You'd have worn pink...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful souvenir!
Nice piece of art you have there.
ReplyDeleteThis is, I presume, the artist and not someone from our Deep South. Papier mache - how much more transient and precious the object becomes.
ReplyDeleteFor a moment, I thought you meant the beard. Pretty little box, I like the folk art style.
