Nice idea to place white roses to honour the memories of victims.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition on top. I didn't visit the World Trade Center (before 9/11), but I have some shots of the Twin Towers.
ReplyDeleteA very moving memorial.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were in NYC a few years ago, there was only a big hole and a construction site...
ReplyDeleteThank you for this moving post, Jack. 9/11 created a wound in our nation which has yet to heal. I'll never forget watching these events unfold on TV in real time.
ReplyDeleteA moving memorial indeed and thank you for sharing. One can almost feel the pain, just looking at your photos.
ReplyDeleteUnlike José, I went up one of the Twin Towers, though for the life of me can't remember which one. The white rose is lovely.
ReplyDeleteA very moving image, Jack.
ReplyDeleteTruly touching to see the white rose placed in memory.
ReplyDeleteA somber memorial, to be sure.
ReplyDeleteThis is a huge memorial but it manages to be understated. It's very nice.
ReplyDeletePoignant post, wonderfully delicate images.
