NoRA Cupcakes sells exceptional cupcakes from the Middletown shop and from food trucks that go around to farmers' markets, fairs and other gatherings.
Melissa served me. She has tattoos everywhere. Melissa's boyfriend is a tattoo artist. Some of her tattoos are Japanese-influenced floral patterns and others are swirling art nouveau.
Jack, you have a way of making people smile... and that's good.
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes are very, VERY tempting!
ReplyDeletewhat a cool spot!
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes look good. But I'd prefer pastry. She has an engaging smile, though, and that is a great help in her business I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of shots Jack. Love her portrait and the shots from the place.
ReplyDeleteI like the looks of this place and the cupcakes and her tattoos. Nice work Jack!
ReplyDeleteI could spend quite a bit of time in that place just looking around. I want one of those brooms with the mustache! To answer your question about hawks in Tallahassee, yes they are everywhere. I see them in my yard all the time. One time I saw a hawk swoop down and grab an unlucky squirrel for his lunch!
ReplyDeleteThe place looks great, she has a great smile.
ReplyDeleteThe cupcakes are pretty and the shop is very cute but, I'm not a huge fan of cupcakes so I'd have to pass this one up. Unless they had some ice cream in there. Then you could get me to stick around.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a cupcake fan either, but what a neat shop!! Melissa is a pretty, "colorful" girl with a lovely smile. The shop would be a fun place to visit! Great captures as always, Jack!
ReplyDeleteDelicious!
ReplyDeleteAn excellent portrait of Melissa.
I don't really care for cupcakes or tattoos, but Melissa has a great smile! And you have such a way with portraits, Jack! :)
ReplyDeleteJack, would you mind terribly asking them if they would relocate to Versailles?
ReplyDeleteIt was those glorious cupcakes that caught me eye first. Looks fabulous. Melissa has a super smile and 'ouch' to all those tattoos :).
ReplyDeleteYum! Best cupcakes in the Hartford area.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big cupcake fan either but I'd give them a try!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a must-visit place, one way and another.
ReplyDeleteColor a good choice for the tats.
ReplyDeleteV
My kingdom for one of those cupcakes!
ReplyDeleteThe store is charming, she has such a bright, friendly smile, but I hate tattoos. Good thing I don't eat cupcakes.
ReplyDeleteI'll have a cupcake for everyone above who doesn't want one Jack.. Looks like Melissa keeps her boyfriend pretty busy :)
ReplyDeleteTrying to stay away from those sorts of things, but those cupcakes look like works of art. Tattoos? I prefer to avoid them, too. Never thought I'd become a fuddy duddy about generational fads...
ReplyDeletelooks like a nice place!
ReplyDeletei cannot imagine wanting so many tattoos...
Pictures came out great!! You captured the place, the cupcakes, and yes even my tattoos very well! Great to meet you!
