An organization in greater Hartford trains dogs to serve as guides for
blind people. Walking down Hartford's Pratt Street, I saw one trainer adopt a
blocking stance while a second trainer worked the dog to go around the blocker.
You didn't think I could find a guide dog and trainers in Russia to pair with this photo,
did you? I couldn't. How about some photos from Mandrogi,
a center for traditional crafts, on the way to St. Petersburg?
The seeing eye dog looks like it was fun.

ReplyDeleteThe Phoenix newspaper had an article the other day that said that some culinary organization rated Scottsdale as the number two city in the country for foodies, and Hartford was ranked as number one.

A great post and captures, as always, Jack, the guide dogs are so incredible! And I love the pics from Russia, I would enjoy browsing that shop -- but then most of us broads enjoying browsing wherever we are!
