I see what you mean about the hat. Isn't it hard to take photos wearing that hat and looking down at the same time this rather attractive woman walks by? You must be a genius!
I assume from the photo that you have a flip-out LCD viewfinder so you can see your photo while looking down, which is a feature I love on one of my cameras.
It makes it much less apparent that you are taking photos of people. It also makes it easier to get low angles.
Julie's photo today on her Scottsdale Daily Photo site is similar in technique to the series of photos that you showed yesterday.
Hey, the two of you do indeed have great hats for the day and great reflections, too!! Bargain shot to be sure! Have a fun day -- and I know you will!!
You captured it all in this photo today, reflection, hearts for Valentine's Day, beautiful girl, nice reflection. You even capture the photographer. Nicely done.
I like the left side of the photo.

Love the hat Jack, would be perfect for the hot Aussie sunshine.. Oh yes, the young lady's hat would work too :)
ReplyDeleteOh, you were taking a photo of the matching hats! Very clever, Jack.
ReplyDeleteSuper! Happy Valentines Day to you too.
ReplyDeleteLove it! So good. Great hats, yours and hers.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a claim. Unlike you, without a hat I am soon going out and about to find "the best of everything" in early morning Santa Fe.
ReplyDeleteGreat timing with this shot!

Happy V. day Jack!
Fine photo for V-Day. Pretty lady in front of an interesting shop with a self portrait included. Nice.
