Love it when women "of a certain age" allow their hair to grow despite some stylists recommendation otherwise. I noted that in several cities, older transplants always seem to enter real estate. Too much work for me!
A striking portrait. What are you doing, walking about Naples asking people if you can take their pictures. I guess you could do a Naples retrospective in one of those shops on 5th Street.
I would not have thought Susan to be a real estate person...I would have guessed she runs a New Age bookstore. :)
I do love her hair and her pose, another fabulous portrait - you need to do a portrait retrospective or something of that sort one day. (You had me figured out right indeed, but I slipped & forgot to think in Fahrenheit yesterday!)
She looks like a forward-looking person.

ReplyDeleteThe second career is often the perfect one.
ReplyDeletei really love the way you photographed her!
ReplyDeleteGreat "person" shot for the day, Jack! You do find the good and the interesting ones!!
ReplyDeleteA splendid portrait!
ReplyDeleteI hope she still has a lot of time to read thrillers!
ReplyDeleteI agree wihth others, it's a great portrait of a wonderful lady.
ReplyDeleteSusan is beautiful. It's a shame that most women don't show off their gorgeous grey hair.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be in Naples reading thrillers. With my dyed red hair of course!
ReplyDeleteYou do find some characterful people to photograph.

ReplyDeleteNice shot.
ReplyDeleteI'm reviewing your recent portraits and I have to say every one of them looks like they are happy happy happy they moved to Florida.
ReplyDeleteA lady with an interesting life and it shows in your portrait.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite a life change Susan made.. I approve of the reading more :)
ReplyDeleteSusan, you've earned every grey on your head. As always, you're beautiful and the goodness in you shines through.
ReplyDeleteYes, my sister is beautiful and interesting. But, then again, I already knew that! Love you Susan!
