Happy Thanksgiving!


Happy Thanksgiving to my American viewers.

Thanksgiving this year is being spent with daughter Susie and son-in-law Wes
in Johannesburg, South Africa.  Right now we are at the lovely
Cathedral Peak Hotel in the majestic
Drakensberg Mountains east of Johannesburg.


We eat well here, too, thanks to Jerome and the rest of the staff!

    Oh, how I envy you. . . not only for the delectable food, but the location. . .such a beautiful country! I hope that you are having a joyful and blessed Thanksgiving!! PS. I hope you get to drive the Garden Route and stay in Cape Town!! Climbing Table Mountain is spectacular and I hope you see it covered with a "tablecloth."

    Thanksgiving during springtime in the southern hemisphere has a different feel. We have visited my son who lives in Buenos Aires several times at Thanksgiving, when the jacoranda trees are in bloom in decidedly not fall color.
