Kennedy Park in Lenox, Massachusetts, was the site of Saturday's canine conference. Seminar topics included tolerating one's human in the time between meals and advanced techniques for feigning deafness when called.
Diving and swimming provided recreational breaks.
Dessert was twig.
Sounds like a fun day. Those topics could apply to some people I have come across over the years.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a canine convention. Were you there photographing only or as a member of the group with a dog of your own??
ReplyDelete@Kate, I came across them while hiking. I am dogless.
ReplyDeleteAh, always helps to have classes in how to deal with the two-legged critters!!! Fun post and photos for the day, Jack!! Hope you have a great day and a new week as well!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a group of Goldens. They are such great dogs. I love your descriptions of the event.
ReplyDeleteThe dogs need to sharpen their skills at training humans.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteGreat meeting!and in a lovely place.
ReplyDeleteLove to see these beautiful dos in a place where they can have fun. On the other side our town is literally overwhelmed by a massive canine presence...
ReplyDeleteTolerating one's human can be such a bear!
ReplyDeleteGoodness but they are just lovely creatures - you caught their fun-loving essence!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I wonder if they're related?
ReplyDeleteA fun post, Jack!
ReplyDeleteA twig is the best canine dessert, don't ya know :)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget the optional extra credit class, "Cuteness: Kicking it up a notch - beyond the cocked head."
ReplyDeleteThis is dirty pool, Jack. I want another golden retriever but I've been told it is to our advantage not to obtain such an animal. And these shots just make me want one more. They are fantastic dogs.
ReplyDeleteEveryone looks like they are having fun. We've never been pet people, although several have passed through the house do to the wishes of others.
ReplyDeleteLooks like there might have been some heavy tail wagging out there.
ReplyDeleteGolden retriever are adorable dogs!
ReplyDeleteFun time for them!
Léia
Jack, I love your sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteHaha. I'm pretty sure Sequoia wrote the book on 'eating completely inappropriate things,' 'selective hearing' and 'making strange muppet noises when owners are trying to sleep.' She can't wait for your visit:)
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet this was an unexpected discovery in the woods Jack, your wordage made me smile :)
ReplyDeleteFun story! I'm sure the dog you showed in your previous post was very sorry to miss the seminar!
