The Look-Out

When George Jepsen was elected the current Attorney General of Connecticut, he bought this private home across the street from the Governor's Residence (shown yesterday).

Is he keeping an eye on the governor?  Or hoping to shorten the distance to move his furniture after the current governor leaves office and vacates the Governor's Residence?

  1. There certainly are a lot of windows in the building to peek out and do his spying.

  2. Arizona is the only state that does not have a Governor's mansion. The Governors have to live in their own house and pay for it. With the current news about the expense account of the Governor of Virginia, that seems like a wise choice for taxpayers.

  3. That is an interesting question. I'm not sure why he'd want to move with a house like this.

  4. Beautiful house! I would ask, "why would anyone want to move?", but then we do know politicians, don't we?

  6. Both are beautiful residences Jack but if I had my choice I'd be setting my sights on that gorgeous Governor's House.

  9. That's a traditional career path for many AGs. But how did he afford this mansion on a civil servant's salary?
