The ceiling of the Belding Theater at Hartford's
Bushnell Performing Arts Center has a colorful mural called "Music of the Spheres." The mural portrays comets and stars in a simulated art deco style. The art deco style was probably chosen because the larger, adjoining Mortenson Hall is a 1930s art deco hall.
