Easy

There were days when I would bypass the easy photos.  It just seemed wrong.  (It must have been the Calvinist upbringing we get in New England.)  Now, easy is good.

  3. If "orange" was a monthly theme, you'd be in business. Now what's wrong with easy?!

  4. Haha! I prefer to call it 'imaginative' Jack!

  5. Sometimes we can make things more complicated than they need to be! This is an orange delight.

  7. Like Woody Guthrie said "Take it easy, but take it!" Or if you prefer "Any damn fool can get complicated" or "Anyone who uses more than two chords is just showing off"

  8. I'd say you've seen the light! Well done!

Re your question. You were there but you're head shrunk!

  9. Great image. Yep, John Calvin was pretty cut and dry. You have much more personality.

  10. It just seems easy because you saw the light, but not everyone would. This fixture is light squared.

  11. I'm lazy and I always try to get the easy shots...

  12. I prefer to call it "observant." Or as Mies van der Rohe said, "Pay close attention to life, God is in the details." There. Does that help assuage the Calvinist?

  14. A lovely, yummy, orangy light photo!

I sat by a guy at a biz lunch in Denver yesterday who lives in your neck of the woods....Maine!

  15. Easy can be good in lots of ways, including quality. This took some sharp observation.

A few years ago I had my picture taken in the pulpit of the Congregational church in Belfast where John Wesley preached. Nothing rubbed off.

  20. Good eye, Jack. This is quite pleasing. I doubt I would ever see a light fixture and rays of light like this.
