This Florida scene yesterday at sunrise is not as dramatic as it was in December. But, it is still pretty.

I was getting bombed by spam, so I changed the comment settings a week ago so that no one can post anonymous comments. No spam in a week! And, I have not noticed any differences in how many comments are made, nor from whom. Why did it take me so long to learn that I can and should shut off anonymous comments?
what a beautiful scene. it's always healthier not to fret about the past. sage advice...but i don't always follow it either.
ReplyDeleteLovely reflection, Jack. It's interesting that the reflected colors appear more intense. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteSometimes , reflections are more beautiful than reality..Here, both are breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful photo. The pink hugs and that hint of fog on the grass is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed Spam comments on a few sites lately. There must be another round of them going on right now. I always wonder how that could possibly produce any results for the spammer. Personally, I never click links that I can't identify.
Wow that is really really pretty. Somehow the reflection of the sky looks more like the sky than the..sky.
ReplyDeleteSo much beauty and how wonderful to see it twice in one shot!! Great thing about reflections! Enjoy your weekend, Jack!!
ReplyDeleteWow, Jack the colors of the sky are simply magical on that picture... Well done !
ReplyDeleteWauu.. really fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThis is spectacular, Jack. Wonderful reflections and hues. So, this is what you're doing while I'm prepping to head into the office -- nice!
ReplyDeleteYou must have been up and out on the golf course early. 'Tis a beautiful sight, as only Florida can produce!
ReplyDeleteI've had "anonymous" comments shut off for a long time and I'm still getting 30-50 spam a day (and that's just on Oala!)
Beautiful sunrise and nice reflection, jack!
ReplyDeleteI'll never do this type of photos, because here the sun rises too early :-)
The king of reflections is back! Super one Jack.
ReplyDeleteI changed my comment settings a few months ago too and have had no spam at all.
Don't forget the old sailor's adage, "Red sunrise, sailor's take warning, red sunset, sailor's delight." Great color in that reflection, but you might postpone that golf game.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflection!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I thought it was a golf course. Good of you to include a link back. Never seen a sky like that.
ReplyDeleteAh! You have been up early Jack .... and what a tepreasure of a pic. I love the pink reflected in the lake.
ReplyDeleteNature's pinks and pearls, the best things in life still free (thankfully). Beautiful! (I finally turned off anon comments at last, what took me so long?:)
ReplyDeleteBoth your December sunrise and this one are beautiful. I find the pinks in this one to be so soothing, I almost think I like this shot more than the other one.
ReplyDeleteI have been getting a lot of spam lately and thinking of changing my settings, maybe I should follow your lead.
That is a good one.
ReplyDeleteSUPERB!!!:)
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous colors. :)
ReplyDeleteThat sunrise is not only bold in color, but also in shapes -it could be a painting!
ReplyDeleteHave a question about anonymous comments - how/where do I shut them off? One of my blogs has been plagued by those:(
It is quite beautiful and the reflection is clear and ever so lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a colorful reflection.
ReplyDeleteWonderful reflections. So calm and serene
ReplyDeleteLot's of beautiful red in this one. Did you also know that Blogger has built-in measures for dealing with comment spam. Check your spam box. I also get spam but not as much as you.
ReplyDelete...and not a flake of snow anywhere in this shot! Seriously, the gentle curves and vivid shades of pink are stunning. The early morning dew makes the grass look like velvet.
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
What a great mood you set in this shot! I love the intense colors in the water. Almost like the reflected world is more real.
ReplyDeleteThis is spectacular!
ReplyDeleteWow, Jack! This is really, really gorgeous.
ReplyDelete(The spam filter on my WordPress blog seems to work well. But I still have to clear (sometimes) dozens of comments out from the spam box.)
Wow wow wow!
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous!
That's so accomplished!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!
Cezar
Oh I think I like these colours even more Jack, soooo pretty! Wonder why all of a sudden we are all being hit by the spammers, I might do the same as you have.
ReplyDeletevery pretty!
ReplyDeleteand yes, i cancelled the anonymous too, as the spamming was getting insane...
WOW! Gorgeous shot, Jack!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise!
ReplyDeleteI do have the anonymous option, more or less because one of the people following my blog isn't on Blogger or Wordpress, so it's easier for her. I do have comment moderation now for any blog more than two months old, and my spam filters catch most of it anyway. Those that manage to get past, I can delete. It does mean checking my comments file daily.
