this is the sort of thing that would melt me into a little puddle of inaction. i would walk away and never come back...until someone could return with me to fix it.
At work where I use a PC, I often say to my computer, "If you had a neck, I'd choke you right now." I have an iMac at home and never have any cause to want to choke it.
This is proof that computers do have a sense of humour.
ReplyDeleteLOL no idea!

OMG This gave me a fright Jack, I thought for a moment these were pop ups for me haha!! So what did you choose??

ReplyDeleteWhat did I do? I returned the HP Windows 8 computer, got an iMac. Problem solved.
ReplyDeleteOh I feel your pain. I'm having a lot of computer nonsense this morning. Wish I could go get a Mac, too!.
ReplyDeleteJack, you did the right thing!
ReplyDeleteA very typical piece of info on a PC! Learn to live with it. Of course, it helps if you're schizophrenic.
ReplyDeleteGreat solution Jack!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the right solution!! Now you can have a fun weekend!!

ReplyDeleteEye-yi-yi! That's enough to make a person crazy. Glad you opted for a Mac, Jack. Wise investment which you won't regret.
ReplyDeleteLove your comment above Jack. I don't miss seeing these crazy error messages that make no sense.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Love Brattcat's comment.
ReplyDeleteTo reboot or not reboot. That is the question.
ReplyDeleteNice shot :).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the smile, Jack. I just hate it when my computer tries to make me look stupid. :))
ReplyDeleteTake a deep breath. Then use a hammer.
ReplyDeleteI usually just pull the plug on the thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the market for a new iMac myself...... I hope you like yours
ReplyDeleteUm, buy a Mac?
ReplyDeleteOoo that's not good. I hope you enjoy the MAC.
ReplyDeleteHa! I loved the way you solved the problem Jack .... that's your executive experience coming to the fore.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, until Microsoft goes to the next operating system, I am sitting tight with what I have. Glad that not all was lost!
ReplyDeleteHope that the weather is good where you are and that your year goes better than this computer boggle!
Bises,
Genie
I know I have a sick sense of humor, but this stretches it.
ReplyDeleteHope it all worked out! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat would make me cry... But I have an iMac too.
ReplyDeleteThat's my line of work, call me!
