John is a tattoo artist and one of the owners of Green Man Tattoos, a parlor on Park Road in West Hartford. He has been creating tattoos for about twenty years.
No tattoos for me. I was just a curious visitor.

Some people do have interesting professions. Go on, Jack...live it up...get one (you can hide it!) I'd bet you'd look fetching with a butterfly tattoo.
ReplyDeleteI am sure he does it well !!!!!
ReplyDeletesuper portrait!
ReplyDeleteGod luck with his art, no tattoos for me either. By the way, your portrait of him is excellent.
ReplyDeleteGlad you clarified that you don't have a tattoo, Jack, as I just can't picture you with one. :))
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, John.
ReplyDeleteThere are two tattoo parlors just around the corner from us. No way.
Great portrait Jack! No tattoos here.
ReplyDeleteInteresting name for this tattoo shop. I have a good friend you collects "green men".
ReplyDeleteSo, you have no tattoo, Jack. But now I'm curious.....is your profile photograph hiding a beard like John's.
ReplyDeleteIf you didn't mention tattoo, just his look screams out tattoo artist... and Harley.
ReplyDeleteExcellent portrait Jack...what not even a little tat in a discreet spot, I do haha!
ReplyDeleteI can do without tattoos, but what a great portrait/reflection shot, Jack, as always! Hope you have a great weekend with your camera! Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteJohn has so much to tell on his tee-shirt : great ida to take it in the mirror ! ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope he sees this great portrait!
ReplyDeleteI will say that some tattoos are beautiful but not on my skin. The reflection is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteNice portrait!
ReplyDeleteNo more tattoos for me. They are so last century. :-)
Great reflection shot. I think I see your arm in there too! :)
ReplyDeleteLove how the reflection captures the message on the back of the T shirt!
ReplyDeleteNice portrait and reflection. Awe come on Jack, get daring.
ReplyDeleteHere I was thinking you were a regular at the tattoo parlour. ;)
ReplyDeleteI will pass on that tattoes. I do like the reflection. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteJack- do you mean you just walked into the tattoo parlor saying you were a curious visitor and then talked the owner and his client into accepting you as a photographer ? You're not only a talented photographer (I love your portraits generally) but also great people skills. Congratulations!
