The
Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn, Connecticut, is one of the finest restaurants in Connecticut. It is in a beautiful farm setting, down a long road, off the beaten path.
It has been a long time since I have had a meal there. This needs to be rectified . . .
I wouldn´t mind going there with you, Jack.
ReplyDeleteJust the name of this place makes me want to try it!
ReplyDeleteYou sound like a man with a mission! You will have to report back when you make it back here. It certainly has a most appealing setting.
ReplyDeleteI would say so! If the food is as good as the location -
ReplyDeleteWith a name like that you just have to make a visit Jack... the location sound wonderful ... Down a long road off the beaten path.
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely a bucolic setting. And if the food is good ... they will come!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place, Jack!! The name is great! I'd love to enjoy a meal there, too! Wonderful captures as always!
ReplyDeleteEven the name sounds delicious. We want a full report....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful landscape, I love farms, the wonderful nature! :)

Without familiarity with the menu, the setting alone would make me want to try this place.
ReplyDeleteI think we will all join you there!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spot. If I ever make it to the area I will have to stop in and try the food. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLooks very nice, but perhaps a bit pricey? It almost looks like some farming is still going on there.
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely. We have a restaurant with a similar name in nearby Lebanon, Ohio.
ReplyDeleteI've always heard good things about Golden Lamb. Brooklyn is also home to a great little specialty nursery called Quackin' Grass that I visit from time to time.
ReplyDeleteWho would've guessed?! I definitely would give it a try.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place.
ReplyDeleteBrooklyn, Connecticut looks a lot different than Brooklyn, New York.
ReplyDeleteCan you buy butter direct from them? It looks idyllic. I'd love to have a meal there too!
ReplyDeleteSuch an attractive setting Jack, and I love the 'buttery' part, not so much the lamb....being almost vegetarian!
ReplyDeleteI do not know the place, but trust your judgement!
