Jorgenson Center

The concert hall at the University of Connecticut's main campus in Storrs is the Jorgenson Center.  It was empty when I sneaked in to stand on the stage.

"To be or not to be."

  7. I suspect it was a better choice to try out a few lines of Shakespeare than to break into song.

  13. The only way I would get up on that stage would be if the hall was empty like that! Looks like a fantastic venue though. I like all the balcony seating.

  17. Very cool design and warm feeling but what's with all the rows of folding chairs in front? It that sometimes used as performance space?

  20. "Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more."

I wonder why the seats in the rear are such a drab color compared with the brighter seats in front?
