  1. I'm passionate by carousels, this one is wonderful and you got a beautiful portrait in your first picture.
I also like the lights, a charming touch!

  2. 1914? OMG! I'll bet you remember than from your childhood. Heh, heh!

Cute shot. But why does that guy have his hat on bass-ackward?

I've noticed you've been at a loss for words lately. Hard to believe! ;-)

  3. I knew a person who, in his 50's, took a ride on horse on a carousel and his foot slipped while climbing on the little horse, he fell and destroyed his knee. To add insult to injury, he had to tell people who inquired that he hurt himself on a merry-go-round.

  7. EG is right these did take me back! I loved horses when I was a little girl and the carousel was one of the few chances I had to ride one! This one is a beauty, and yes, I would want to get on it and ride today! Hope your week is going well, Jack!

  14. Love the delicious over the top detail of this carousel. We tend to have way too many of the very tawdry versions over here.
