Satan's Kingdom
Satan's Kingdom is the place on the Farmington River in New Hartford where people rent tubes and go into the river. A bus picks them up a mile downriver and brings them back to Satan's Kingdom.
In fact it's not "my kind of sport", and I don't know how to swim! LOL But I'm sure Cezar would love to try it!Looks very funny and your pictures are great! Léia
I loved to do things like this when I was younger, too, and after looking at your photos, I want to do it again, but I'm not sure my kids would let me off the leash! Hope your week is off to a good start, Jack! Enjoy!
I love these scenes! Years ago when our kids were small, our entire neighborhood would float down the Apple River in Wisconsin with families and sometimes with just adults. Fun!!
I've done this in Mexico in some ancient Mayan canals among the mangroves. The difference is the water was very calm so I moved quite slowly towards the Caribbean Sea, giving me time to watch all the fauna there in and out of the water. It was fantastic!
Wow -- that looks like fun! Nice pics, Jack. I'll pose the question everyone is wondering: Did you bubble wrap your camera, don a lifejacket and go tubing???
the kind of thing I liked to do when I was younger!

There is a place like this in Arizona that people go to all summer long. It's something I've never done. These people appear to have a great time.
ReplyDeleteThere are places in Costa Rica for this, as well as just East of Phoenix/Scottsdale. It is fun.
