Six weeks ago I showed you the outside of a Thai restaurant, where a chef questioned why I was taking pictures of his restaurant. He told me to come back and try a meal some time. Recently my son and I visited for dinner.
The special was salmon mango curry, so I gave it a try. Very good! John had a Thai noodle dish, also very good. I showed my post to the chef and the manager. They got a good laugh.
Wow, the salmon looks amazing, dad! (Having a problem posting comments - sorry if this goes through twice!)
ReplyDelete... and that was breakfast? hahahaha Looks delish!
ReplyDeleteOw, this looks really great. I'm getting hungry. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a terrific dish; worthy of a photo. What time was breakfast?!
ReplyDeleteThat looks very good, but I always prefer Italian...
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful dish - glad it tasted as good as it looked! How much fun to share your post right there on the spot!
ReplyDeleteNot a salmon fan but boy does that look good.
ReplyDeleteI bet it tastes as good as it looks. Thai food is my favourite. And I can never forget what it was like having the best food ever sitting at a table literally in the water as some beach restaurants do in southern Thailand.
ReplyDeleteOh, that does look yummy. Now I'm hungry for Thai food. Of course, right now, anything but Italian sounds good.
ReplyDeleteI like Thai food very much, and this salmon is very tempting!
ReplyDeleteImagine, one day you take a picture, and now you have new friends, you make them smile, you eat a delicious fish, and you have a great address where to go with your son! A simple click, great consequences! :o)
Looks like a very tasty and healthy meal.
ReplyDeleteI love salmon! Looks like a great meal! I really like the shot of the chef and manager!! Probably a new experience for them. Ah, how great to be discovered!! Hope your week is going well, Jack!!

ReplyDeleteLooks really good, buon appetito.
ReplyDeleteYum! It looks wonderful! I get a kick out of people when I tell them I would like to take pictures for my blog. Most immediately pose and smile. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is my kind of food!
ReplyDeleteI bet they were chuffed Jack, instantly known around the world!! You should have had your delish looking salmon for at least half price haha!
ReplyDeleteI remember the first post very well. How good of you to try it out, how unfair to post this wonderful photo!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very good. I think I'd enjoy that meal.
ReplyDeleteI hope this doesn't go through twice as Blogger is playing games.
Nice food photograph, one that cries out for smellovision. I noticed the tee shirt, of course. Some Thai food would melt your cheeks and tongue. I don't see how that's pleasurable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip on VDP. It's a Firefox problem. FF doesn't display some Blogger features correctly and I haven't been able to solve the program. No problems in Safari or Chrome on my Mac, though.
It looks delicious! And ilikethe presentation too. :)
ReplyDeleteIm a vegetarian and the dish looks delicious! ...uh oh...
