Torrington Mural

After being inside the Trinity College Chapel so long, how about an outdoors shot in northwestern Connecticut? 

This mural is on the wall of a building in downtown Torrington.  I liked the girl sitting at the roof end of the lower building.  Torrington is the biggest city in Litchfield County.  It is a former mill town.

    There are quite a lot of interesting aspects to this mural but, the girl sitting atop is they real eye-catcher. Wonderful.

    This is superb and it's the girl on the corner that really stands out.

    I'm wondering how the artist painted that light pole on thin air? ;-))

    As a youngster I went through Litchfield many times. Oh, wait, that was Litchfield, Minnesota!

    Love the mural -- looks like a patchwork quilt of sorts. And I like the girl on the roof too. Very clever.
    Your Inside Trinity College Chapel series was outstanding. I'll be back to look at the details more.

    Had to look twice at the girl, a lovely flourish. Who is the person on the black bit? It looks a bit like HM the Queen from here!

    I agree with many others, there is much to see. I enlarged and the other girl and boy are also interesting, but the one on the roof is by far a stand out. I love the compass which I assume is correct.

    I've been to Torrington. My father's boss lived there. I really like the design of the mural and I'd enjoy seeing it straight on.
