This New Britain protester doesn't like Connecticut's junior senator, Richard Blumenthal.
It is often said that the most dangerous place in Connecticut is between Dick Blumenthal and a TV camera.
Thanks for your comments yesterday. Most comments were OK with occasional posts from outside the jurisdiction.
His sign seems to reflect that he has a complaint about workers compensation and a U.S. Senator, but workers compensation is a matter for state government, not something for which a U.S. Senator has responsibility.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness we live in a country where we can express our opinions...
ReplyDeleteHe's taken his opinions to the street!
ReplyDeleteWell, he has the courage of his convictions! Right now I'm getting pretty tired of politics, politicians and protestors. Yes, it's the American way, but I think I'll take a little break from the media!
ReplyDeleteI love to see people peacefully demonstrating. But, personally, it's difficult for me to take someone seriously whose attempt at articulating their stance involves the usage of the word 'sucks'.
ReplyDeleteJack, it is a great picture! What a face.
ReplyDeleteYup he's not a happy chappy and he's letting everyone know it. Great candid capture Jack.
ReplyDeleteIt's very interesting to see how different can be demonstrations in France and USA...
ReplyDeleteIt's a fabulous photo, Jack!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, Jack, and similar ones could be taken all over Seattle these days! There is SO much anger and dissatisfaction and disgust with almost everything about politics and, in particular, politicians! Love how you've caught his expression! Says it all!! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
He is not a happy camper! Great catch Jack!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's succinct.
ReplyDeleteHe's got something to say and he's not afraid to say it - got to admire him for that. I don't know a lot about American politics Jack but now I'll remember the name Richard Blumenthal !!
ReplyDeleteWell, sorry Mr. Protestor...but Blumenthal, a fighter against corruption, sounds OK to me. The only thing that bothers me is his "friendship" with the traitor Lieberman. :-)
ReplyDeleteFreedom of speech.
ReplyDeleteWhat U love most is someone who is passionate about their cause even if I don't agree.
ReplyDeleteI support citizens' rights to protest. After all, that's what started the American Revolution. :)
ReplyDeleteGuess he wanted to get his word out!
ReplyDeleteI'm from "shootthelotof'em.com" myself.
ReplyDeleteThis guy is a jerk - and a whack-job. It has nothing to do with Blumenthal, except Blumenthal not siding with him in a Workers Comp dispute. He's usually standing outside the governor's house ILLEGALLY parked and blocking traffic at a busy intersection at rush hour. But he's more important than the law - unlike his targets, of course.
ReplyDeleteI'm sad you wasted the time and space on him. He doesn't reflect anything or anyone (else), or even a small slice of Hartford.
Don't insult the OWS people by mentioning this fool in the same sentence. He's just a singular, mindless crank.
