LeeAnn

The Joseloff Gallery of the University of Hartford is holding its Faculty Art Exhibition.  It runs through December.  Among the exhibiting faculty members is LeeAnn Cogswell, a sculptor.

LeeAnn  was an exhibitor at an outdoor arts festival I attended in September.  She was working on a bas relief.,

  3. There is a lot of talent in university art departments. We have a close friend who is extraordinarily talented as a painter and ceramics artist. He teaches art at a community college.

  5. The sculpture is wonderful and I bet the entire show is something to see. I recently saw a small art show at the Phoenix Art Museum of works made by employees and docents. There was a lot of talent displayed there too.

  10. That piece is wonderful! I just saw an exhibition on tv about an artist who makes sculptures out of Legos. I know, sounds quirky, but it's really quite good and this reminded me of it. He does human forms.
The floods in Vernazza are heartbreaking. If you haven't already, check out www.savevernazza.com the photos and story of one man who lost his father are terrible.
