When I lived in Mesa (a few miles to the east) I used to see the fire training facility all of the time. I'm not sure where it is in Phoenix. This tower is much more realistic than the one I used to see in Mesa.
My daughter's dad was a fire fighter and I used to have to deliberately NOT think about the danger he might be in. Thankfully he survived to retire and go on to more tranquil pursuits.
Rather them than me. That's one job I wouldn't even contemplate doing. I'm glad that others are braver than me!
ReplyDeletewhat heroes.

ReplyDeleteCorageous and admirable work these guys do!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you!

ReplyDeleteGreat shot Jack! Ours is out near our airport too.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot, causes me to wonder where our firefighters train. May have to go ask a neighbor.
