Trinity takes a penalty kick . . .
. . . and SCORES!
Allie, Whitney, Lizzie and Sam were standing near me. They are sophomore transfer students at Trinity. All nice, all friendly, and -- as you can see -- all pretty.
"Fear the Chicken" refers to Trinity's nickname, the Bantams.
Love the action shots...they indicate the energy it takes to play this game which isn't always obvious from the bleachers. Love ":Fear the Chicken"...it is SO student-oriented. Bet the kids love it! Yes, pretty, fresh-faced young women.
ReplyDeleteExcellent action shots Jack, love the goalie diving for the ball, the most nerve wracking position in the whole team I think (remembering back to when I was goalie in my hockey team). You're such a charmer, how could those lovely young ladies resist having their photo's taken..!!
ReplyDeleteTrinity... graet name. Another STUPID mascot. Even these pretty faces can't make it true. hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you explained the "Fear the Chicken" slogan. The Scottsdale Community College teams are called the Artichokes, by a vote of the students around 1970. I have never seen a tee shirt that says "Fear the Choke."
ReplyDeleteA great action shot! Quite a dive!!!
ReplyDeleteYes...all very pretty:D Did you go for the game....or fans in the stands Jack;))
Either way...great shots!:)
Looks like a fun afternoon of soccer and pretty Sophomores!
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots, Jack. The expression on the players and the sense of movement is perfect in the first photo.
ReplyDeleteIs it true that you are always surrounded by beautiful women? That's the story ... that's the glory ... of Jack!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Jack and a wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots, Jack!
ReplyDeleteThe girls are adorable!
ReplyDeleteWonderful motion in the first shot!

I love the school slogan! Nice action shots and you are right, these girls are very pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteI am with everyone else. Wonderful action shots and I see you are still charming the women into photos: )
ReplyDeleteGreat action shots and very nice portraits!
ReplyDeleteGreat capture of the guy in white (top) and nice portrait of the cute young ladies.
ReplyDeleteThese are great shots. the guy in the white shirt in the top photo does appear to be charging after the ball a lot harder than the guys in blue.
ReplyDeleteSuper action shots Jack! The young ladies have great smiles.
ReplyDeleteHehehe, and some are wondering why, O why do men love soccer....:o))
ReplyDeleteWell, you got it all in this series: composition, color, action. Oh yes, and the ladies with their great smiles! You are such a charmer, mon ami!
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
I can see the ladies were, but were you for Trinity too? :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat action shot with that expression on the kicker's face! I know it's been wished many times, but to have that youth again (although I wouldn't want to be that age again!).
ReplyDeleteTerrific action shots, Jack! I, too, love the expressions on their faces! And lovely young women as well, with beautiful smiles! Enjoy what's left of your weekend!

ReplyDeleteWOW! I can see at least four reasons why you like watching the game. :)
ReplyDeleteNice action shots of the guys AND cute ladies on the sidelines! Lucky you!
