Kids at the Senate

A group of kids from Booth Free School in Roxbury, Connecticut, visited the State Capitol on Thursday while I was there.  These shots are taken in the Senate chambers.  Roxbury is a very small town in western Connecticut.  I was impressed at how well behaved and attentive the kids were.

  1. It must be an impreesive place for them.. Great idea to give them the same colorful t-shirts! A good way not to lose anyone!

  2. Those well-behaved youngsters are a tribute to their teachers who obviously well-prepared and trained them for this field trip. The stained glass windows caught my eye! Is that carpeting on the floor of the chambers...classy!

  8. Those t-shirts are giving me flashbacks!
The old Packard had a parking permit in the window so it must be someone's summer ride.

  9. Let's hope that somehow the future for these students approaches the brightness of their T-shirts.
