Weekend Reflections: Gable

I think the late afternoon winter sun bouncing off the gable and window of a Tudor-influenced house is nice.

For other photos of reflections, go see Newtown Area Photo.

  12. They sparkle like diamonds. I love windows like that, though they're probably a pain to clean.

  15. It certainly is. Now you have transported me back to Elisabethan times.

Re. the lying statues: you might want to look up recumbent statues. They always lie, mostly because they are usually above tombs. In the case of the two I posted today, not tombs: the duke and archduchess' remains are in Bruges, Belgium (at the time, belonging to Burgundy).

  16. This is one cool shot...different and so interesting. Reflections are so fascinating...just another work of nature. The Tudor style of architecture is a favorite of mine. Lovely shot.

  17. Looks like a gingerbread house. Interesting to have brown beams too, so often they are black and heavy looking.

  18. That window is gorgeous. BTW, thank for the compliment on my selection of music on my player. My husband often pokes fun at me for all of the oldies I love!
