Quite beautiful, Jack. Is this Friday? Aha! That's why the reflection. I can't seem to do that...hold my reflections 'til Friday. Must be getting old(er).
It certainly is. Now you have transported me back to Elisabethan times.
Re. the lying statues: you might want to look up recumbent statues. They always lie, mostly because they are usually above tombs. In the case of the two I posted today, not tombs: the duke and archduchess' remains are in Bruges, Belgium (at the time, belonging to Burgundy).
This is one cool shot...different and so interesting. Reflections are so fascinating...just another work of nature. The Tudor style of architecture is a favorite of mine. Lovely shot.
That window is gorgeous. BTW, thank for the compliment on my selection of music on my player. My husband often pokes fun at me for all of the oldies I love!
It's more than nice! I love this kind of building (check out my travel blog from this past week) and the reflection on the window makes it even better!
The afternoon in winter is pure romance in the air!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable is this picture, this facade, this window!

ReplyDeleteLooks like a gingerbread house. Interesting to have brown beams too, so often they are black and heavy looking.
