You get a peek at Connecticut's State Capitol in the banner to this blog. Here it is from a more direct perspective. (This photo was taken in late summer, before our trees turned red or yellow and then lost their leaves.)
Tuesday was a mid-term electon in Connecticut and elsewhere in the United States. Big changes are happening. It will be interesting.
It is a beautiful building!
ReplyDeleteI love the golden dome. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe more things change... the more they stay the same. I think that's how it's all going to play out.
I might have guessed it was a cathedral with that lovely dome.
ReplyDeleteIt looks a bit like a Russian dome.
ReplyDeleteGold domes are deriguer (sp?) for capitol buildings. But those corner spires are really different. Very Victorian looking.
ReplyDeleteThat's very nice indeed.
