My only visit to Hartford was in the late 80s (I think it was) during a huge snowstorm, with my flight being the last cleared for landing that day. Due to the snow and attendance at a conference, I didn't get to see much of the city, but the ride in from the airport with snow in the evergreen trees was absolutely gorgeous. Glad I've discovered your blog. It doesn't seem to be something that attracts younger folk these days. No good asking me, being deaf doesn't help with singing!jennyfreckleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12221511824958069710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558559381295017448.post-85322710712124443212015-09-06T12:07:31.779-04:002015-09-06T12:07:31.779-04:00A very large and imposing building, Jack!A very large and imposing building, Jack!RedPathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06980471119229896414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558559381295017448.post-41094090955096239902015-09-06T09:24:02.809-04:002015-09-06T09:24:02.809-04:00An imposing and impressive structure. I was surprised to learn that during an organ concert at our own Cathedral that I enjoyed the concert. It was a memorial for the composer father of a former student of mine; Stephen Paulus was a prominent and prolific composer who is admired and much missed in the classical music world.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09223040482420514208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8558559381295017448.post-34090441424614423842015-09-06T05:32:23.463-04:002015-09-06T05:32:23.463-04:00It's truly a grand building.
