Monique

I ran into Monique as she bicycled through Elizabeth Park.
We caught up about her three daughters and the affairs of the world.

Monique worked with me at my first company and I hired her for my second company.
Today she is a compliance officer for an investment firm in Stamford.

It's nice to run into old friends in these days of isolation!

I had a man in front of me in line at the pharmacy tell me he knew me yesterday...where from? I had mask on, and he kind of did (nose sticking out)...and I didn't recognize him at all. We shared names, he works auto repair and thought either there or church...but I still didn't know him. He thought I was someone he knew, but I wouldn't take off my mask for him to see the rest of my face...

How fine to run into old friends. Good portrait.
