This prompts more questions than answers. There are so many programs available via the federal government, local social service agencies and philanthropic organizations (especially in Naples and Sarasota) that no military veteran should be homeless. Many times, homeless veterans are entitled to substantial benefits. They just need help navigating the bureaucratic system and being connected to the appropriate social service agencies. Nice capture, by the way.
Sad. We need to do more.
ReplyDeleteThat's a sad sight Jack.. he looks like he could do with a few good hearty meals.
ReplyDeleteHe looks okay for a homeless Vietnam veteran though.
