Matlacha

Matlacha (pronounced Mat-luh-SHAY) is a small fishing village with colorful
art galleries and funky gift stores, on an island connected by bridges to
Cape Coral and Pine Island.

 Color is everywhere.

  14. Eye candy...fun to see through your shots, but maybe a little too much sugar for my taste. Then again maybe that polka dot rooster in the first shot is just the ticket for my garden...8->

  16. Good grief...

Now why would it be pronounced shay when there's just an a? I know, I know, I need to stop asking stupid questions.

  19. All very colourful if rather makeshift and impermanent, designed to catch the eye of the shopper (and photographer). Nice to hear that other countries have their idiosyncratic pronunciations.
