Out of the Jurisdiction: Molde

Molde is a pretty big city by Norwegian standards.  It is maybe one quarter of the way up the western coast of Norway.  On one side it is ringed by mountains, on the water side it has many islands.

I went on a drive through fishing villages.  This one is Bud.

The drive went on the dramatic Atlantic Road, which connects many islands.

And, we took a reproduction Viking ship to an island before reversing direction
and heading back to the ship.

Many beautiful views.

I will have to check a map to see where you have been so far. I hope you see the northern lights at the top, Jack. I'm not sure if this is the right time of year or not.

I'm struck by that road that looks like it suddenly drops off. That's a dramatic photo.

I had the same thought as Sharon about that bridge.

Great photos, especially the dramatic road and the Viking ship. Jack, your good eye for photos continues to work.

Did you do the Norway in a Nutshell tour? That is what I am booked for in Sept. Can't wait! Joan

I agree with Sharon and William about the road. What a great perspective, Jack.
