Out of the Jurisdiction: Princeton University

I arrived at the Princeton campus with only one hour of light remaining on a dreary day
with little light to begin with.  I had never been to Princeton before.

I went first to Nassau Hall, the iconic administration building and the campus' oldest building.

I think the Ivy League requires at least one Richardsonian Romanesque building.

This one is a concert hall.  I heard a rehearsal so I peaked inside.

Then I walked through another quadrangle.

I found lots of young men and women in evening dress.  They were getting ready for a concert.

Enjoyed the tour of the university buildings. It's very interesting to compare the buildings with those of similar vintage in Cambridge.

It looks like a beautiful campus, Jack! You are giving us quite a tour on your trip north!

Thanks for the tour around the campus. I've never been there either. That photo of the three girls is absolutely timeless. It could have been taken yesterday or it could have been taken in the1930's. It's such a lovely shot. It reminds me of photos of my mother when she was a young woman.

It looks a lovely place to study. It's interesting how different your major universities look compared with ours. Each beautiful, but recognisably of their own country.

You had a wonderful time at Princeton. I had a cousin who sent to school there many decades ago. Good to see your pictures.

The architecture is pretty wonderful but I'm also taken with some of those leaded glass windows. Oh, the places I missed as a state college graduate!
