Fabulous portraits, Jack!

We don't see the pileated woodpecker around here. What a gorgeous bird.

Red seems to be a popular colour with your bird population. Three beautifully executed shots, Jack.

We get all three of them here, but more in the countryside. Terrific shots!

Jack, you certainly found three brightly colored birds. I thought the Pileated Woodpecker was rare, and seldom seen. Great photo.

You did well to capture these so cleanly. I saw a great spotted woodpecker on my walk the other day but it dived round the back of the tree and then flew off! No photo....

Great selection of birds. I had to go to Arizona to see a cardinal. And I've yet to see a pileated woodpecker. The red-crowned looks a bit like our flickers.
