A snowbird shows photos from southwest Florida and southern New England and other places he goes.
This is my kind of place. These buildings are wonderful. I especially like the Congress Hotel.
All very cool and stylish. I hope at least some of these will be preserved for future generations.
They're beautiful! We don't have a lot of Art Deco here.
In all of my times going to Florida I have never gone to Miami except to the airport. I would be over the moon to see the beauties. Thanks for showing them, Jack!It is warmer today: -3˚C but snowing!
All in pristine condition and absolutely gorgeous. A great display of Art Deco.
Great shots. We have walked through there and enjoyed the architecture. Overnighing in Miami on Wednesday and planning dinner in Little Havana.
I was there a year ago and took the architectural tour. What a treat!
That's quite a collection of Deco buildings. They all look to be in very good condition.
Oh, gorgeous. They all look so fresh too. I guess paintwork stays cleaner down there - or they have a good budget for maintenance.
