Anhinga Nest

A female anhinga nested in a tree in Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary.

The male was nearby but mostly obstructed from view by twigs and leaves.

An old photo? Or do they really nest in December? Fine looking bird anyway.

She's beautiful, Jack! I love the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary! I first saw a Bald Eagle there.

More beautiful bird shots! I don't think we have angingas here. They look like really gorgeous birds.
