Country Roads

"Country Roads" is a bit of artistic license.  I was driving the roads just the other side of Avon Mountain, which divides the Connecticut River Valley (Hartford, West Hartford) from the Farmington River Valley (Farmington, Avon, Simsbury).  Suburbs.  But, it felt like the country.

Waterville Road, Avon

Nod Road, Avon

East Weatogue Road, Simsbury

Very American scenes.

Attractive place to reside. Not many sharecroppers though, I take it.

Places that obviously owned by those who take care and enjoy their environment. Love the line of fence pumpkins.

Some beautiful fall colours and scenes. I love seeing those pumpkins lined up on the fence, very attractive.

I love those homes with their simple, classic style.

What beautiful sights! Thanks for taking us along. (You can leave me off at the estate with the pumpkins on the fence. I could move right in. Or the grey house with the red door.)

Looks soooo pretty. And it is a bit like watching an American film.
