Goodwin Hotel and Tower

The Goodwin Hotel was a fine boutique hotel in downtown Hartford.  It occupied a gorgeous Victorian building attached to a modern office tower.  Unfortunately,
after losing money for several years, it closed a decade ago.

A new group bought the hotel a year ago and made a big investment to renovate the hotel.
It re-opened in May.

The tower remains a prestigious location for offices.

It looks like they've done it some justice. Your second shot makes me think of the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco and its palm court.
