Winners

She won the Red Dress Race for Women last year, too, and did so this year with an even more convincing lead.  Brittany Heninger is a 28-year old former UConn runner with a doctorate in physical therapy.  The second place runner finished 29 seconds behind her.

The race supports heart health for women and draws a lot of runners.

Not content with being photographed as they ran past, this tiara-crowned mother
and two daughters stopped to wave.

Jack, we do need to talk. You need to stop associating with all these fast women. (Good for them supporting a most worthy cause.)
Thank you for looking and your recent comments on my blog. You gave me a big smile this morning.

Now that looks like a fun race to participate in. I'm sending a little wave back to that royal trio.

Nice sequence. Young and old, all with a common goal.

Looks like a great race. Now I wonder: if women had worn tutus and tiaras back when I was a tad younger, would I have run? Naaah.
