Tobacco Barns

There are tobacco fields and barns near the airport in Windsor Locks.  On a recent trip I detoured.

(I put the last one through a filter . . . )

Back in 2011 I wrote about Connecticut's 150 year history growing tobacco,
primarily leaf tobacco to wrap cigars.

Always best to take your tobacco through a filter.

Quite a sight to see all those barns lined up so neatly.

I like these photos. The sky provides an appropriate mood for the barns.

Nicely photogenic, those barns. And not a tobacco advert in sight.

Lots of people might still smoke!

There is a limited area here that grows tobacco, though less in recent years.
