It's All About the Candy

How many bags of candy will you give out on Halloween?
And, are there some well-loved birds in your neighborhood?

How true it is. Halloween is sweet.

Probably nothing as we don't celebrate Halloween. But then again who doesn't like candy?

I've just taken delivery of £60 worth of wild bird food for my brother, so I guess a few more feathered friends will make it through the winter.

People here tend to go to Derry~Londonderry for the Halloween Festival which begins next weekend. It's a really big show!

The number of children who ring our doorbell varies over the years, depending on the turnover of homes from retirees to young families. We have more young families now so I load up with goodies. Love the birdhouses.

What a cute bunch of birdhouses and I love that Halloween sign. I actually didn't give out any last year.

We don't get any but I will go to my mother's and she gets over 125 kids usually! Her neighborhood birds are well-loved too!

I usually give out two or three bags because we have a lot of kids in my neighborhood. I love those colorful birdhouses!

We get a good variety of birds in season - cardinals, doves, jays, crows and more. As far ae the candy goes, we're at the end of a cul de sac and don't get much traffic most years.

We have a lot of well loved birds around here but although there's a school across the street all the kiddies are trucked in. No little gobblins at the door on Halloween.
