Connecticut Fire Academy

The Connecticut Fire Academy is down the street from Bradley International Airport, which serves Hartford and Springfield.  Speaking of airports . . . I am on my way to Scandinavia for three weeks.
Norway, Denmark, Sweden and a few other countries.

I will pass through some cities chronicled by City Daily Photo bloggers  -- Bergen, Stavanger and Berlin come to mind -- but for most of the time, I will be on a cruise ship without
the freedom to meet up with the local CDP bloggers.  Another time . . .

That is quite an installation! I'd be interested in exactly what is being taught in there. Have a good trip. Have never been to the Scandinavian countries except to fly through and exchange planes. Since I have had my DNA done, much to my surprise, I have as much Scandinavian as western Europe in my background plus lot of other nationalities. Who knew?! Now I am excited to get in touch with other aspects of my background and would LOVE to be doing the trip you are planning. Have never been interested in a cruise yet friends who have speak positively about the experience. I'll be very interested in your reaction. I know you will have a great time aboard ship. Enjoy!!

Interesting building you have there. I wonder if you get certified as a firefighter if you attend this academy.
Your trip sounds awesome and I hope you have a grand time aboard ship.

Bon Voyage Jack!

And so much the better for you. It's a pity we will miss each other at Schiphol by a few hours.

This is an admirable building. Ours looks like a relic by comparison.
