Two Yale Museums

The stairwell in the Yale Museum of British Art is encased in a bold concrete cylinder,
which provided a good background for this woman studying the artwork.

At the Yale Art Museum across the street, an exhibition shows Andean textiles.

The Yale Art Museum mixes contemporary art and traditional art.

Lots to look at here. Did you try the leather couch?

Great shots, Jack! It looks like these are places where one could spend many hours.

I really do love the look of this art museum.

This is a very well made series. Washington U and St. Louis U have art museums but nothing like this. We used to enjoy the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago when our kids went there.

The Rothkos and those spheres make for a perfect rhythm.

Some very interesting exhibits. Very different from the museum I visited recently!

The Andean textiles particularly catch my eye.

These look like superb museums. (And, yeah. I like this selection much better than the busts.)
