Out of the Jurisdiction: Walking the Streets of South Beach

James Hotel

Ben Franklin wearing a blue bandana?  OK.
Hotel Gale.

Loews Miami Beach.

Havi Art at The Carlyle.

Ballet Valet Parking Garage and Retail, by Arquitectonica.
It has been pruned.

Detail above the elevator at The Wolfsonian Museum.

Painting by Louis Morgan of the architectural firm Schultz and Weaver, showing an imaginary skyline with the firm's Art Deco buildings built between 1921 and 1936 in New York City, Miami and elsewhere.  The Waldorf Astoria (NYC) is the tall building in the center.
The Wolfsonian Museum.

A scene seen through an ornate gate at The Wolfsonian Museum.
Damn!  I thought I centered that Leicester Square sign.

I am away again until mid-March.

Nice little statue above the elevator. Interesting shirt that woman has on. Wonder what she is drinking :)

Very interesting array of sights on the Streets of South Beach. I am still trying to figure out that time travel thing.

Your street walking certainly produces interesting results. Regarding the Leicester Square sign, I think that NOT centering it makes it more interesting!

Interesting mix of architectural styles- and what's Leicester Square got to do with it? Hope you gave a fabulous trip.

I'm wondering how they qualify for time travel, and I wonder what old Franklin would have thought of that mural.

Looks like you're having a nice getaway. So much to see and photograph! I'll be in that neck of the woods at the end of the month for the Miami Open.
