Red Hat Ladies

These ladies were having so much fun.  Then they told me I am not eligible
to become a red hat lady.  I am crushed.

Fun – we celebrate life at every age
Friendship – we solidify and expand the bonds of sisterhood
Freedom – we discover and explore new interests
Fulfillment – we realize our personal potential
Fitness – we embrace healthy, life-lengthening lifestyles.

It think all of these attributes can be applied to you as well. I don't know why they are so picky! :)

I think I've only heard of these ladies on blogs. Maybe we don't have them up here.

That is not fair! By the way I have a nice red hat...

An excuse to have fun with an organizing theme gives meaning and frivolity to these women's lives. Pay attention, folks!

Looks like a group of troublemakers to me.

I always enjoy seeing the red hat ladies at luncheons. They sure look like they're having fun! I'm crushed for you as well that you cannot join their group. Where's a petition for me to sign?! Your CDP followers want to see you in a red hat with the ladies who lunch!

No, not unless you are prepared for some radical changes in your life.

We have an old, dear family friend who does this. They have had a meeting or two in St. Louis. Goofy, harmless, charming. More so than you might find at, say, a biker convention.

You could start a stylish panama society.

I second jennyfreckles! Pop on a red panama and gather up some of the frisky folks you've found around Naples. Write up your own manifesto. I suggest "We like to have a good time. Wanna come along for the ride?"

No of course you can't join Jack! I recall photographing a group of these women here in London a couple of years ago. A great organisation.
