Jack

Jack is a retiree who spends as much time in Elizabeth Park in the summertime as I do.
With that bright red shirt, I posed him against the reddest roses I could find.
Next time in the park, I hope he wears pink.
There are more pink roses.

I'm gobsmacked by the matching shirt and roses... ;-)

Well, real men can wear it. Jack will have no problem. He looks pretty much in control of himself.

A perfect color match!

Jack looks great in red amongst the red roses. Since pink is simply light red, I'm pretty sure he'd look just as good in pink amongst the pink roses.

Maybe next time, you could do a Jack and Jack photo op! :D

Thank you for not posing the red shirt with the pink roses.

I have one dress shirt some people say is pink. I say it is salmon.

I agree with your comment yesterday about the deterioration of political discourse. I am a political junkie and even I find the news hard to watch. No wonder all three cable news channels are taking a dive in their ratings.

Thank you for you post about the 9/11 memorial and museum. I had not seen any photos of the inside, and your depiction of it was powerful. It appropriately places the emphasis on the remembrance of the victims.

The holocaust museum in Jerusalem also personalizes and emphasizes the victims, but also traces the roots of the conditions that led to the perpetration of the atrocities. I think we are too close in time to display that subject in a museum regarding the origins of the 9/11 attack.

Like Grace, I am wondering if that is you! Pink can look good on everyone.

Two more Jacks and you've got all the Jacks in a deck of cards.

Hmmmm....I'm thinking that Jack is a retiree with decades of professional and executive experience in this rear view mirror. Hi there, Jack!

Jack perfectly posed amid red roses .... but I don't like your chances of capturing the same in Pink!! we'll wait and see.

Have mercy! Jack, when you come out you do with gusto. I love it! I think you will be pretty in pink or rouge as well.
