56 Arbor Street: Louise

Underwood Typewriter Company building at 56 Arbor Street in Hartford.

It is too late for Louise's center to do any good for my mind and me.

Did you stage the statue of Rodin's "Thinker" for the photo? Very appropriate prop for Louse's center! Whenever I see this statue, I have to laugh. . . my father affectionately called it "The Man on the Pot." Guess where I hung a small poster in my house which I I bought of "The Thinker" at the Paris Rodin museum?

That's what I'm thinkin'.

Another great portrait, Jack! You really do have a talent for these portraits and I do enjoy them so much!! Ah, and for just a brief moment, I thought that statue on her desk was you!! Well, you are a "thinker" aren't you??? Hope your week is going well!!

And she looks pretty sharp! That statue always makes me think of Dobie Gillis. ;-)

For that formidable lady, surely no-one would be beyond reach! Her face embodies sharp thinking and creativity, alertness and fun too. I'd love to know her. Another great portrait, Jack.

Ditto: it's never too late. And I'm thinking that even if it were it would probably be plenty of fun anyhow. It looks like Louise is ready to be a good role model, too.

Ha ha Jack, who are you trying to fool? We all know that photography and meeting people through photography (plus all the other things in your life that we don't know about) keep you alert, sharp and creative !!!

This is a wonderful portrait. I'm sure Louise is a good match for the thinker sitting next to her.
