Reading Room

The Reading Room at the Hartford Public Library is really cool.  Especially when I am looking for a reflection photo.  Reflections off the Gold Building are the only other Hartford reflections as reliable.  I will go back there sometime soon.

If you like photos with reflections, please visit James' website Weekend Reflections.

It is Friday the Thirteenth today.  Yikes!  Maybe I should stay inside . . .

It looks like a wonderful place to stop and read for awhile. Love the reflection too!

PS: In France and other European countries Friday the 13th is seen as a lucky day. You should buy a lottery ticket. :)

This is a people-friendly room, one in which I would love to read.

Considering the state of our libraries the only sincere thing I can say is that I envy you!

Feels like a very open and airy space. I think you've shown this one before. It's a lovely library.

Very nice! Aside from the reflections your library is so very appealing! What a great community resource!

You look like you've a terrific public library - makes all the difference I think!

(Thanks for kind words re: 9/11. Pton is a weird mix of very typical suburban, very intellectual New England, and very rural...you have to watch out for hunters with crossbows in the forest!)
