Pink!

The Polka Dots Girls house on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury is a place for parties, gifts and "spa" visits for pre-teen girls.  This would be heavenly to lots of young girls.  It would not have worked in my house.  My daughter is a softball, swimming, water polo, diving, saxophone, hiking, yoga, photography, gardening and crafts kind of girl.

To see other posts with pink subjects, please visit the monthly theme page of the City Daily Photo bloggers.

Wow, indeed. We have a pink house in Tungelsta but I think I have already used it on my blog.

Without question, this building makes a very loud statement that many little girls probably could not resist.

It looks like something out of a children's story book

Thank you for exercising the leadership to pick the pink theme. You obviously had a good photo lined up for your selection.

I think I am going to show a few more days of pink to continue to theme a bit.

That is a creative business venture and a colorful house. Our daughters sound much the same!

Polka-dot pink house ... very unique Jack and I'm sure a very successful business venture.

You couldn't have found a more perfect building to photograph for theme day. This place might be a bit over the top decor-wise but, it is perfectly painted and maintained.

You certainly couldn't have found a more perfect shot for the theme day! How fun! Hope you're enjoying a great holiday weekend, Jack!

Before I even read your description I knew where that house was located. What an eye catcher.

Oh, my! That's a PINK house. This could have inspired John Mellencamp's song 'Little PInk Houses'. I can't imagine living there...but, it is eyecatching and well maintained. Hope all's well in your world!

No wonder you chose pink as our theme, Jack! This place is fabulous. ;-))

Yup, that wouldn't have worked for Aimee either Jack :) but I can just imagine there would be many a pre teen that has had heaps of fun here!

Well Jack, this is the King of Pink!
Excellent photo for this theme, as expected :)

GREAT choice! I have a grand niece who'd move in there in a heartbeat.

Oh gosh, is that the reason why you opted for pink?? :-)
This is amazing!

What fun, my daughter would have loved it!

That is certainly PINK. Not that my daughter would have fallen for it either.

Love this amazing pink! Even though I'm not quite a girly girl either:), those polka dot awnings are pretty sweet.

Definitely hard to miss that!

Yow, what an eye-burner!. My daughter is of a similar mind to yours. Little Madeleine will never have a Barbie doll, she says.

Would not be hard to find if they told you to look for the pink house.

Charlestonjoan said...

Oh, that hurts my eyes just to look at it!

Chattahoochee Valley Daily said...

It does get your attention.

Yow. The pinkest of pink. With polka dots to boot. Is anyone else troubled that pre-teen girls are being pushed more and more into activities previously reserved for teens and young women? Good on your daughter for not having any of it.

Man - what a house. Working there could give a person a migraine!

In all fairness, I think you're making me sound a lot cooler than I am these days, dad. More like 'gardening, DIY, pets, and photography when I can remember/if my battery's charged'.

You won, Jack! This is the coolest entry I've seen. Fantastic!

HA! That's really something! It wouldn't have worked for either of my two daughters either. My girls have never wanted to be princesses. :))

Okay, you really needed to have PINK as a theme with this photo hanging around! Love the candy look to this place but I hope that it is zoned commercial. Otherwise the neighbors would have to have sunglasses!

Thanks for setting up the CDP group theme this month!

Genie
